Alexander Polsman, 28 was born in Russia and lived there till 1991. In high-school he majored in Physics and Mathematics. After serving in the IDF as a D-9 commanding officer in a combat engineering force, he started his BSc studies in physics at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. After graduating in 2009, he registered for an MSC degree in applied physics. He is now part of Prof. Yuri Feldman's group of research. Since the beginning of his graduate studies, he was for one year a research assistant in Dr. Nadav Katz laboratory in a narrow spectrum band laser building project, then a laboratory instructor for undergraduate students. He has been working as a teaching assistant for a class in electromagnetic wave and antennas.
