Natalie Fardian

Natalie Fardian, 22, grew up in L.A., California. Fascinated with math and science from a very young age, she has always dreamed of becoming a scientist. She moved to Israel with her family at the age of 10.? In high school, she majored in physics -?€?“ with outstanding achievements. After serving in the National Service in Jerusalem (2004-2005), she earned her B.Sc. Degree in Medical Engineering at the Jerusalem College of Technology (2005-2009). Natalie was on the Dean's list for excellence during all her years of undergraduate studies, and received the Rector prize for the year of 2009. Her B.Sc. research project dealt with "Photo-Plethysmography with a Separating Medium Between the Tissue and Device". In her last year of undergraduate studies, she was a Teaching Assistant (TA) for basic undergraduate math and physics courses. Natalie is currently studying at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem for her M.Sc. Degree in Applied Physics, as a member of Prof. Aharon Agranat's Optoelectronics group. The subject of her Master's Thesis is "Non-Linear Optics in KLTN", under the guidance of Prof. Agranat and Dr. Marom.
