Gilad Marcus received his Ph.D. in physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2006. He spent few years as a Humboldt research fellow at the Max-Planck Institute of Quantum Optics with the group of Prof Ferenc Krausz. In the fall of 2011 he joined the Department of Applied Physics at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem .His fields of interest include attosecond and ultra-fast science, few cycles lasers, OPAs and OPCPAs at various wavelengths, laser high field physics and coherent control through autoresonance.
