The Jerusalem Brain Community invites you to our upcoming Brain & Beer event on Tuesday, November 27th, 2018 at Abraham Hostel Jerusalem. The evening consists of short lectures by students on topics related to neuroscience. This gives students and faculty from all fields of brain research the opportunity to meet in a relaxed atmosphere over a beer, discuss their research and forge new collaborations.

Michal Goldstein: "Perception of Size of Musical Intervals"
Michal is a graduate student in the Department of Musicology, studying Music Cognition under the supervision of Prof. Roni Granot and Dr. Ayelet Landau. Her research examines the perception of intervals - the basic pitch units that melodies are composed of

Ana Polterovich: “Music and the Brain: the Meaning of Sounds"
Ana is a PhD candidate at the Auditory Electrophysiology lab of Prof. Israel Nelken. Ana studies long term learning in a complex auditory environment in a rat model.
