Ph.D student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in the Department of Hebrew Language. Her current research, under the supervision of prof. Yael Reshef, focuses on the development of the formal writing in Modern Hebrew, as reflected in the letters of The Hebrew Language Committee (Vaʻad HaLashon HaʻIvrit) from the beginning of the 20th century until the thirties of this century. Her M.A. thesis, also under Reshef's supervision, deals with developments and trends in the verbal system of Modern Hebrew, according to HaPo'el HaTSa'ir newspaper from 1907 to 1953. Ruth is a Researcher working on The Historical Dictionary Project of The Academy of The Hebrew Language.
