Doron develops novel stem cell-based therapeutic approaches designed to treat non-union bone fractures in a variety of anatomical sites and conditions. He is interested not only in evolving cutting edge methods, but also in eliciting the underlying molecular and cellular processes that drive successful bone regeneration. For this purpose, he created a designated imaging tool-box. In addition, Doron strives to translate these advances to the clinical arena by establishing large animal models.
