Prof. Hagai Ron is the founder and the father of the paleomagnetic research in Israel, a worldwide pioneer in paleomagnetism. Hagai established the poaleomagnetic lab in 1987. At first, the lab was part of the geophysical Institute of Israel, and since 2001 the lab is in the Institute of Earth Sciences, the Hebrew University.

Prof. Hagai Ron passed away on September 2012. Hagai will be missed by his friends, colleagues and students, who dedicate this memorial webpage for him. In the  menubar on the left you can find notes written in his memory.
