In a ceremony during the Annual Meeting of the American Political Science Association (this year in San Francisco), Prof. Gadi Wolfsfeld was awarded the Murray Edelman Lifetime Distinguished Career Award. It is given once every two years by the political communication division of the American Political Science Association.
This year, faculty and PhD students from the Department of Communication and Journalism will be presenting almost 30 papers at the Annual Conference of the International Communication Association at San Diego. Here we present the bumper crop of papers and posters that we will be presenting.
Dr Zohar Kampf won the 2016-2019 Israel Science Foundation research grant for the project: “Performing Peace: understanding the conditions for achieving the (re-)conciliatory consequences of discursive actions” (105,000$)
Prof. Limor Shifman received the prestigious Michael Bruno Award for 2016. The Michael Bruno Memorial Awards are presented each year to Israeli scholars and scientists who display exceptional promise, and whose achievements to date suggest future breakthroughs in their respective fields.
