Dr. Keren Sadoun-Kerber is a post-doctoral Fellow at the Smart Institute at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Lecturer at the Open University of Israel at the department of Language, Literature and Art. She is also member of the Adarr research group at Tel Aviv University.

Dr. Dana Markowitz-Elfassi

Dr. Dana Markowitz-Elfassi is a Post-Doctoral fellow at the Smart Institute and at the Department of Communication and Journalism at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her research fields involve political communication, political psychology, journalistic practices and gender effects.

Dr. Christian Baden

Dr. Christian Baden is a Marie Curie Fellow at the Smart Institute and Department of Communication and Journalism at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research focuses on the collaborative, dynamic construction of meaning in conflict and crisis discourse, specifically investigating the resonance and justification of frames. He is also member of the INFOCORE project consortium investigating the role of media in war and conflict.

Dr. Julia Sonnevend

Julia Sonnevend is an Assistant Professor in Communication Studies at the University of Michigan. She has been named a Lady Davis Postdoctoral Fellow at the Smart Family Institute of Communications at the Hebrew University and an Associate Postdoctoral Fellow at the Truman Research Institute for the Advancement of Peace. She will be in Jerusalem from December 2013 until September 2014.

A Post Doctoral Fellow at the Smart Institute and at the Department of Communication and Journalism. Her research interests include the press agencies (their history and the anthropology of press agency journalism), qualitative and quantitative content analysis of news, Grounded Theory, and historical memory in contemporary news coverage of the restitution of Jewish looted assets during and after WWII (1943-2011).
