Curriculum Vitae

I am a senior lecturer and graduate advisor at the Hebrew University English Department. My book, Tracing the Aesthetic Principle in Conrad´s Novels was published in 2008 by Palgrave Macmillan; further research on Conrad and other writers (including John Banville, Samuel Beckett, Herman Melville, Henry James and J.M. Coetzee) has been published in a number of journals and volumes including The Conradian, Conradiana, Partial Answers, Twentieth-Century Literature, Journal of Modern Literature and Journal of Beckett Studies. In progress is a second monograph on Joseph Conrad titled Joseph Conrad: Slow Modernism. I am trustee and second vice president of the Joseph Conrad Society of America.
