2011 - Biological Sensing and Micro Systems

Recent developments of micro-fabrication techniques for constructing integrated circuits in which microfluidic circuits, optoelectronic devices, and nano-sensors are operating in unison open new avenues in biomedical engineering by providing novel solutions to current unmet experimental and clinical needs.

The 2011 Annual Conference of the Peter Brojde Center for Innovative Engineering and Computer Science will be devoted to the study of different approaches that have recently been developed for constructing such Microsystems, and the analysis and diagnostic tools that can be implemented by their application.

The conference will take place on the 21st of June, 2011 in “YAD HASHMONA” near Jerusalem (http://www.yad8.com/). The conference is planned to provide a wide introduction to the subject, and is therefore aimed for scientists and engineers from the academia and the high-tech industry as well as students.
