Aviya Perlman Illouz
Aviya Perlman Illouz, 24, lives in Jerusalem. In high school she majored Biology and Math. During her national service at 2010, she taught in elementary schools in Ramla. Aviya did her B.Sc in Physics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2011-2014). She is currently a M.Sc. student in the Applied Physics Department at the HUJI, in the Quantum Nano Engineering Laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Yossi Paltiel. Her research focuses on the creation of a nanometric multi-value logic device - a non binary transistor. This is achieved by using a hybrid complex of quantum dots & organic Self Assembled Monolayer which create discrete electronic response. A reliable non binary transistor could enhance the computational capabilities of computers.
