Guy Koplovitz, born in 1984, is currently a Ph.D. student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Guy was born and raised in Jerusalem. He studied in Leyada high school, majoring in physics and computer science. Guy served as a warrior in the IDF (2002-2005) in the armored corps and later was reassigned to an infantry unit.

Guy did his B.Sc degrees (2006-2010) in Computer Engineering and Mathematics in the Hebrew University.  In 2010 he started his M.Sc degree in the Applied Physics department focusing on periodic self assembled arrays of protein-nanoparticles hybrids under the joint supervision of Prof. Paltiel (from the Applied physics department) and Prof. Danny Porath (from the Chemistry department).

Guy is currently working on his Ph.D (again under the joint supervision of Prof. Paltiel and Prof. Porath) on the topic of nano-magnetic spin based memory devices. Such devices may allow higher density and lower power consumption of current memory devices technologies.
