Miri Blau, 27, grew up in Jerusalem. At 2006 served national service in Dimona. At 2007 started her B.Sc. studies (Electro Optics Engineering) at Jerusalem college of Technology (JCT). At 2011 she started her M.Sc. and at 2013 her (direct) Ph.D. studies in the Photonic Devices lab under the supervision of Prof. Dan Marom. Her research focuses on the effort to enhance data capacity over optical fibers, "Space Division Multiplexing".
