Noa Betzalel

Noa Betzalel, grew up in Jerusalem. She studied at the Music Academy High school as a pianist, and served as a warrior and commander in the Israeli Combat Engineering Corps for 3 years.

In 2010 she started her B.Sc. in Computer and Electrical Engineering specialized in Applied Physics at the Hebrew University, and was listed in the dean's excellence students.

In 2014 she started her M.Sc. studies, and in 2017 she started her Ph.D. studies, both in Applied Physics in Prof. Yuri Feldman's research group. Her research focuses on investigating a methodology for standoff detection of bio-metric parameters and mental condition of human subjects, exploiting the fact that the sweat ducts behave like an array of helical antennas in the sub-THz range. In 2017 she won the faculty prize for her research so far.
