Odelya Koslovsky

Odelya grew up in Jerusalem, the home of the Hebrew University. Her ambition has always been to dedicate her talents to research in the spirit of serving the State of Israel. She is currently studying for her M.Sc. degree in Applied Physics. After high school, she volunteered with the National Service at the Israel National Council for the Child, where she represented the rights of Israeli children from different sectors. Following her service, she attended the Jerusalem College of Technology (JCT) to earn her B.Sc. degree in Electro-Optic Engineering. Odelya is especially interested in innovation and development of technological devices. Her B.Sc. project dealt with a laser-pistol-based training system based with a computer model for simulating military target practice. After receiving her B.Sc. degree with excellence, Odelya worked in Al Cielo, Jerusalem, where she was part of the research, development and manufacturing teams of Fiber Optic Gyroscopes for use as navigation systems in vehicles, airplanes and in space. Hoping to broaden her knowledge in Electro-Optics, Odelya has decided to go on to graduate studies in the Hebrew University's Applied Physics Department, working with researchers at the forefront of research and development technologies. Ms. Koslovsky's scholarship was donated by Eldee Foundation/Bloomfield/Schachter Families together with the Peter Brojde Center.
