Oren Ben Dor
Oren Ben Dor, aged 37 and father to three gorgeous girls, is currently a PhD student in the Applied Physics Department at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In high school Oren studied Physics-Chemistry-Mathematics. During his IDF service Oren served as an Air Control Officer at the country's southern Air Control unit. Oren did his B.Sc in Physics at the Tel-Aviv University, while working as a SATs instructor and later in NESS-TSG Inc. company in Tel-Aviv as a QA and system engineer. He graduated his M.Sc in the Applied Physics department at the Hebrew university of Jerusalem, in the same Lab he's currently conducting his research for his PhD degree. During both his M.Sc and PhD Oren is focused in his research on charge transfer through chiral molecules with the aim of fabricating an applicable device that would enable a Quantum Mechanical regime while functioning at room temperature. Oren managed to construct several devices, mainly memory devices, that yielded both electrical and optical successful measurements that pave the way for nano-metric scale down and energy consumption substantial reduction in comparison with current memory devices technologies.
