In 2011, he earned his MA in Political Science at the University of the Ryukus, Okinawa. Since 2011 he is a PhD student at the Department of International Relations, at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In 2014 he joined the ERC project "JudgingHistories: Experience, Judgement, and Representation of World War II in an Age of Globalization". For his Bachelor degree he studied at the Department for East Asian Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
