Membrane-Macroion Interaction

Membrane-Macroion Interaction

These slides in this presentation were assembled from a number of lectures delivered over the years. They mostly focus on the interaction between charged macromolecules, such as DNA, rigid basic proteins,  and intrinsically disordered proteins and mixed lipid membranes containing one or more types of oppositely charged lipids. The work emphasizes the role of lipid mobility and the thermodynamics of macroion induced lipid phase separation and membrane shape changes.
