Our main interest is in the way biologically diverse environments create conditions for macromolecules to specifically associate and dissociate and form complexes that carry specific functions in cells.
How does the fact that cellular environments are far removed from the dilute conditions in the test tube modulate macromolecular structure and stability?
We use simulations, theory, and experiments to try and answer this question and its far-reaching implications.
