Prof. Shaul R. Shenhav

Curriculum Vitae

I am an associate professor at the Department of Political Science, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
My research follows four interrelated trajectories, all reflecting my interest in the role of values in the political arena. The first is the study of narratives in the social and political domains; the second is the study of national and international political discourse; the third explores the role of identity-related indexes in analyzing the behavior of states, primarily in the context of public diplomacy and Populism; and the fourth is Israeli politics. I am also leading, with professor Tamir Sheafer and PhD candidate,
Yair Fogel-Dror, the a research project that works on Computational Solutions for analyzing public discourse.
