I am interested in the effect of the solvation enviroments on the folding thermodynamics of proteins. Mainly, I study the folding mechanism and different secondary structures of proteins in concentrated osmolytes solutions and in sugars glass, where our understanding on the molecular-level interactions has remained limited. To resolve the mechanism on the mesoscopic scale I use a combined experimental and computational approache, that includes circular dichroism and osmotic pressure measurments with molecular dynamics simulations.
