The JBC is inviting students, whose field of study relates to any discipline of brain research, to apply for 2015-2016 JBC Scholarships.
The Jerusalem Brain Community (JBC) is an association of researchers from the Hebrew University who study and promote brain research. Through scholarships, conferences, lectures and workshops the JBC encourages interdisciplinary collaborations between their faculty members and doctoral and postdoctoral students.
Travel Scholarship
- supports students of JBC members, participation in courses, workshops and conferences abroad, where they will present a lecture or poster.
- Scholarships range from $500-$1000.
Post-Doctoral Fellowship
- JBC post-doctoral Fellowships are intended to enable Fellows to devote themselves exclusively to their research with the purpose of reaching scientific and professional independence.
- The fellow will receive a stipend of $22,000 per year from the JBC and a matching sum will be provided by the fellow's supervisor.
