This year’s retreat was held on Sunday, June 2nd - Tuesday, June 4th,2019 at Mitzpe Ramon. This retreat was a great opportunity to meet colleagues from multidisciplinary fields, share and exchange ideas, and form new collaborations. JBC members, together with faculty members from other universities, presented interdisciplinary views on current Brain Science issues. 60 students participated in the Poster Exhibition Contest. 9 students were chosen to present their posters at our annual Poster Blitz.
Congratulations to Blitz Winners:
1st Prize to Noam Saadon Grosman, for her poster: "The "creatures" of the human cortical somatosensory system"
2nd prize to Nora Vrieler for her poster: "On the organization of electrical coupling between inferior olive neurons, and its influence on synchronized rhythmicity"
3rd prize to Alex Kazakov for his poster: "Rats and VRats: using virtual rats to study the behavior and neural activity of freely moving rats in a complex environment"
