JBC Student Initiated Workshop - The Brain Music Cognition: Sounds of Prediction Conference

The Brain Music Cognition (BMC) 2019 conference will be held in Jerusalem, December 16th-18th. It will bring together researchers and experts from various fields, from Israel, Europe, and the US. They will present ideas, methods, and findings, at the forefront of the research in music, brain and cognition. The conference will promote discussion and exchange of ideas between speakers and the audience, with speakers representing a broad array of backgrounds: music theory, music composition and performance, ethnomusicology, music cognition, auditory perception, neurobiology, cognitive science and neuroscience.

The conference will be held at the new centre for brain research (ELSC) at the Edmond Safra campus at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, under the sponsorship of the Jerusalem Brain Community (JBC).
