All measurements were done at 20 degrees C, UNLESS otherwise stated. The temperature coefficient is low but some measurements can be found in Methods of Enzymology 127: p400-416 (1986) and more recent measurements at different temperatures have been completed for PEG 400 and PEG 8000 (Stanley and Strey, Department of Polymer Science and Engineering, University of Massachusetts)
